Question by Savannah 🙂: What are some ideas for church lock ins?
My church is a pretty small church with practicly no youth group. I was going to invite people and bring up the subject to the youth leader. There is a big tv and game tables. I was wondering what would be some fun interesting ideas for the lock in? Not to mention the youth leader is pretty boring. I need your ideas to fun stuff to do all night.
Answer by Jim Try searching through a site like http://www.jubed.com/youth_ministry
There’s plenty of games and ideas for youth groups there.
You can filter the list to only return ideas relevant for your age group or group size

Question by Shannon: What are some things I could do to prepare for singing a solo?
In church, I am going to sing a solo.
Sometimes, my voice is not very clear, or precise.
The solo is to be sung in a sweet, clear, pretty voice,
which i have when i have the right preparations.
Is there something i can do the night before, or the day of to warm myself, and my voice up?
I heard somewhere that salty foods helps your voice.
This is an odd question i know, but i would really appreciate the help !
Answer by tammee the most important thing is to visualize the performance from beginning to end!!!
Next, you just need to relax the throat….try not to be uptight or the throat muscles will not work properly. Drink lots of water….DEFINITELY NOT MILK OR ANYTHING that coats the throat.
Hum gently before church begins.
When it comes time for your solo, enjoy it!!! Sing your melody to god!!! Make him pleased and the heck with everyone else.
