There’s a new Bishop in town!

Newark DE (PRWEB) September 3, 2004 – Bishop Corbett, a long-

time member of the National Church of God in Christ, Memphis, Tennessee, was consecrated as a Bishop in the International Holy Convocation, 2004 of the organization known as The United Fellowship of Churches in Chicago, Illinois. Host Bishop Ernest Hamilton, Bishop of Chicago, Bishop David J. Billings III, Bishop Eric R. Figuroa, Sr, both of New York were among the attendees.

Said Bishop David J. Billings, “ I am delighted that Bishop Corbett, a long-time member of The Church of God in Christ, has joined our ranks. He was a strong supporter of the late Bishop F.D. Washington and I know he will be an asset to us.”

Bishop Corbett was appointed the Bishop of Delaware, The International Public Relations Chairman and the Parliamentarian of the organization.

Bishop Corbett said, “I open my heart and arms to all that have been pushed aside. I look forward to working with the disenfranchised, overlooked, and ignored, both men and women pastors who will walk together with me to bring this area back to God. I look forward to bringing a new, fresh and unique ministry to this state”.

Now that there is a new, fresh face on the scene, many will be looking for direction and assistance. Bishop Corbett plans to build a new church, school, bible college, youth center and daycare.
