The Episcopal Church Rescinds Moritorium

The Episcopal Church rescinds the Moratorium enacted at the 2006 General Convention in response to the Anglican Communion’s request that the Episcopal Church refrain from ordaining and consecrating non-celibate homosexuals until there is consensus in the Anglican Communion. At the 2009 General Convention both houses took action that nullified that moratorium. In this video, we see the live vote of the House of Bishops on July 13, 2009 at General Convention in Anaheim, California.
