Crawley’s original Roman Catholic church has been rebuilt a couple of times. In its present form, it is an impressive postwar building by the highly original architect (and influential architectural writer) Harry Stuart Goodhart-Rendel. Back in the early Victorian era, the Blount family of the Crabbet Park estate in Worth were closely associated with this church. This view is taken from the rear, from a twitten that leads from Station Way to Haslett Avenue West. The saddleback tower and polychromatic brickwork are clearly visible. Taken on 20th October 2011.
