The King’s College to Host Business Roundtable

— A roundtable with top New York City business executives will be held on the campus of The King’s College at 9:45 a.m. on August 8.

The executives participating in the discussion are: Pat Spainhour, Chairman and CEO of Ann Taylor, Inc; Jill Lamar, Director of the Discover Great New Writers program at Barnes & Noble and Tom Lane, retired Managing Director of 17 years at Goldman Sachs who is currently a Partner in a new private equity fund, Energy Capital Partners.

The executives will share how they have managed successful business careers and continue to walk with God in the midst of a demanding environment.

The discussion will be followed by a Q & A time and is part of a program hosted from August 4-8 by The King’s College for TeenPact. TeenPact is a comprehensive leadership experience for young people where they are challenged to grow personally and spiritually.

Other individuals addressing the students during their time in NYC are: John McCandlish Phillips, a widely respected former reporter for the New York Times and a co-founder of the New Testament Missionary Fellowship Church (Westchester, N.Y. and NYC); and Sonya McNair, Vice President of Public Relations and Corporate Communications for Essence Communication Partners.

Ideas effect government, business, the media and other key institutions within society.
