Question by Wayward Surfette: What is church like for Protestants?
I heard another user say once “….while you Protestants enjoy your donuts and coffee in the pews….” but I’m not sure if that’s true. Catholic churches are very solemn and the congregation is very respectful (for the most part) and quiet (again, for the most part). No one in my church brings distractions for their children, instead they tell their kids to listen to the priest. Definitely no one eats during church, besides the Eucharist. There is, in fact, a rule that people must fast one hour before taking the Eucharist except for water, medicine, and if for some health reason you have to eat during that time. Can someone describe for me a Protestant Mass?
@ royal wait…. what?
Question by WW: What is the Episcopal Church like?
I have never attended anything except a Baptist church. I am thinking about visiting an Episcopal church. I am single and will be going alone. No one there knows me. Will I feel welcome or awkward? What can I expect? I’m kind of shy and want to do this, but am a bit scared. Thanks!
Answer by Mister Ed. Well they dont like the Bible…. they ordained a openly gay bishop who is a practicing homosexual and bless gay marriages. I would stay with something closer to Baptist. If you care about what G-d’s word says.
Question by Daoie: Is it weird for a non-Christian to listen to and like songs based on Christianity?

Question by Ash: How would you decorate a desk to look like a control module for a space station?
My church is doing a camp for special needs kids and the theme is Galactic Blast. I need ideas on how to decorate the front desk… Any suggestions?
Answer by Starrysky Computer(s) and screen(s) and keyboard(s) and joystick(s) and software for astronomy or space travel running on them. A video projector or large flat screen TV with computer images might be neat.
Painted white cardboard or foamcore board with a shape other than familiar rectangular. Slant sides, sharp angles (corners that are safe, though) and an overhead console would add to the impression.
A modern pilot’s chair like I. Miller or Saarinen or Eames
You can get space documentaries on DVD about Hubble, space shuttles,
Question by Equal rights for Blacks Brotha: Is it rude to sit indian style on a chair at formal occasions like a wedding or church because I do it?
At formal occasions, just because I want to, I sit indian style on chairs with my legs up on them as opposed to feet to the ground. Would any of you see this as rude and give me a look?
