Question by Jacki G: question concerning history of the Church of Christ?
I’ve heard that the modern day denomination, The Church of Christ, is a split-off from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Supposedly, in the early history of the LDS, which would put it in the 1840’s, 50’s ? I have heard so many good things about the LDS Church but know virtually nothing of the Church of Christ. Just curious.

Not exactly. There is a branch of LDS called The Church of Christ, but the ones in my neck of the woods (Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas) are spun off from Congregationalists. They just share the same name.
