For the offertory, the choir, directed by Scott Hagler, performs There Is a Balm in Gilead,” arranged by William Dawson. This starts at 12:22, but the choir rehearses this same piece at the very beginning. The communion music is performed by Cheryl Birchard on the guitar. She sings and plays two pieces, “Healing Oil” by Lizotte (19:06)– and “Beauty for Ashes” by Lewis (23:31).
