Born Ashley Common, Milton, Hants. Eldest child of Thomas and Emily.
1891 Census in Lymington, King’s Salters Road, as domestic servant. By the 1901 Census was looking after her widower father and her ‘adopted sister’ Annie White (13 years) in Station Road, New Milton, in a large house named Bursledene. She let apartments in it, from which they all lived. She advertised in Kelly’s Directory, 1907 and 1911.
Annie White married Alex Corbin in 1910. Lived in the thatched cottage
shown here from about 1922 to 1981.

Emily married William Rasin Sanders in Lowestoft, 1920.
Helped bring up his sons Kenneth and Ivor.
She died in 1939 and was buried in St Margaret’s Church in Lowestoft (where she had been married)
