God is so amazing. I cry in joy because I know that I am forgiven because he loves me and when I read 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come.” i’m just in awe because it means being a Christian doesn’t just mean that we are forgiven it also means we are a new creation.

so sorry to hear, although you may feel you are far away from God, guess what! God is ALWAYS close by. Just call out to him in prayer, no need to hold back.

okay there are many names for Jesus/God/Holy Spirit. Including Jehovah, Jehovah-Rapha, Jehovah Nissi, Adonai, Yahweh, Yeshua, I AM, Elohim, Consuming Fire, Alpha and Omega, Deliverer, Wonderful Counselor, Bridegroom, Abba, Advocate, Christ, Great High Priest, Holy One, Almighty, Rock, Redeemer and so much more. Overall, he is still God our father, the One who is overall, and he saved our souls. So can we not argue over His names?? He has many names so can we just leave it at that!?!?!

You’re right. God will never leave us. But don’t forget, he says “But today I FEEL like one mistake away…” Meaning he realizes that he may have strayed too far off God’s grace.

Forgive me if I’m wrong but IMHO Its doesn’t much matter what you call Christ as long as that name stands for the same thing, as long as he represents The one true king cause a name’s meaning can be transformed if people recongnise that named as GOD in just the same way that the cross which once stood for suffering and death now stands for Life because of our lord Jesus Christ.

both of enoch2′s answers ( both sets of verses) are from the new testament, it is most likely that they were said by Jesus himself. He recited prophecies about himself without actually directly saying that they were about him to his diciples. (sorry if i’m incorrect, its way too long time since i read it, and if i have some stupid english mistakes it’s cuz im tired at the moment)

Yeshua gave his life a living sacrifice one, for all that will believe and turn to him. He has washed all our past transgretians away with his blood on the cross, once for all that will believe and recieve Him.
