  2. gsryank Says:

i liked it but dont be hatin on video games they’re no different than movies or books just another form of entertainment

  3. franklymydeary Says:

You’ve told the truth, Pastor, but you are too late. America is in its last days just as Israel was crushed for its disobedience. Every civilization repeats the same pattern of work, reward, and wealth and ends with a last generation in hedonism, gluttony and corruption. Every single one. $15 trillion in debt as the rest of the world goes bankrupt, too. The 401K is the last thing you’ll need. All’s left now is to gather the faithful and let those too late bang on the door. I’m sorry.

The “church” is not supposed to be a building. It’s supposed to be people.

  5. copi12345678 Says:

This is true; but there is another side to this story. In many cases, as older folks are resisstant to changes that is driven by the newer culture (the next generation), these younger Christians start new congregations in the new style that is more relivant to the their generation. So the old die and the new generation is birthed. The Kingdom is always growing. Yes the older need to finish much better, by being living examples to the young. The young need to be willing to be around the old.

    I am stunned…. Wow!

  7. MrKylethered Says:

@hollyo89 its not appropriate for men to be mentored by older Godly women. It has nothing to do with strength of the believer.

  8. dreadfear1 Says:

@hollyo89 Wow. Women are doing alot better than men these days. Zoom, right over your head

  9. MrJohnt64 Says:

@AAmosLove I read in 1 Corinthians 3 of Paul “I planted the seed . . .” so I don’t think that “church planter” is a particularly dangerous metaphor . . . at least, no more dangerous an expression than “soul winner”, which also never appears in the New Testament.

  10. ColoradoHorseTrainer Says:

Pastor Darrin is right on the mark. These days, men are marketed to be bafoons. They aren’t supposed to find their way because women are supposedly their saviors. I am guilty of not investing in younger men. But no more; I am proud to be a Catholic and I will invest in the masculinity of our world. Come on men, let’s take our world back; not at the expense of women because some do a lot of wonderful work. But now we are being called to help out young men…let’s do our share! Amen? Amen!

  11. lolaryngoscope Says:

@RebelSapper you can easily live a life of purpose without church. many people can’t, but if you’re capable of looking at your life more thoughtfully you can find your place in the world.

  12. mAuIsDiSc Says:

The reason a lot of guys live with their parents is because school tuition and the cost of living is so expensive. I live on my own and go to school, but I have had nothing but Ramen since Thanksgiving. Better men can be fostered by giving people who want to do something with their lives a better chance economically.

  13. pastorstevenridings Says:

@hollyo89 If you read the book, he does NOT demean women or their role. He just reinforces the biblical role of men.

  14. hollyo89 Says:

soo I guess he’s not interested in pastors who are women. or in the idea that not only older men but also strong, godly older women can be role models for young men .

  15. BIGBUTCHER1 Says:

    Adam… where art thou?
    Amen!!!!

  16. SICILYTV2 Says:

THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS THE CHURCH LACKS DECIPLESHIP. . NOBODY WANTS TO EVANGELIZE THEY JUST WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT.

  17. brazilian777able Says:

I left the Christian church 6 months ago, because ONE thing. After salvation there is no direction no truth discipleship. No one really knows the Bible or care to know it is full of cliches and gold nuggets. I went to God in the matter and I was compeled to study the Hebrew language. Now, I pray for Pastors to be awaken to 1. after salvation the Torah is still a mandate from God. All those words like “faith”, “grace” and so forth were taken out context thus no “power” and lawless abound.

  18. RebelSapper Says:

Churches are dying for a reason… People are liberated from the oppression from the church… Granted, without the church, men don’t know how to lead productive lives and they don’t have purpose anymore… In that sense I think church serves a role in society, even though it teaches belief in fiction… I don’t know which is worse :-

  19. PickinNgrinin Says:

@AAmosLove Being a pastor is being a shepherd. Shepherding is something that the bible is clear on; especially in acts 20:28. You keep going off on pastors, but I think you neglect to understand the purpose of being a pastor/shepherd/elder. The purpose is not to give a pastor supreme authority, it is for a man to be in place to lead the flock of God’s people. We have to have elders/pastors now because the Apostles have died. Pastors have to study the scripture and be educated to educate others.

  20. pastormike7 Says:

AAmos, I can see that pastors (elders) as an office don’t have your respect. Since you haven’t got much more to add, how about letting other people talk. It would be the “loving” thing to do.

  21. AAmosLove Says:

    @PickinNgrinin .
You mention Pastors… to help lead.
Also a process founded on biblical guidelines.

    Hmmm? Today’s “Pastor/leader,”
is this a “Title” or “Position” in the scriptures?

    Can you name one? ;-)

In the Bible, How many people… have the title pastor?

In the Bible, How many people are… referred to as pastor?

In the Bible, How many people are… ordained as a pastor?

In the Bible, How many congregations are… led by a pastor?

Be blessed in your search for truth… Jesus
