Question by nehanzo: Can a Christian church in WA ST expel a member because she was living with her boyfriend?
I am a korean woman attending a korean church in Tacoma and my boyfriend is living with me and my children. We plan to marry. However, I heard and confirmed that a white pastor told another korean woman who live with a man to get out of the church. What I heard is that she did. I love my church and volunteer my $ and time, and my boyfriend loves me. But I worry that they can legally kick me out.

They can ask anyone to leave, for pretty much any reason. If you’re worried about it, you may want to discuss the situation with your church leadership and your fiance.

Save your money & find a church that loves you back. I don’t think they can legally kick you out but they can make it a place you don’t want to go to anymore. I see it as God’s way of telling you to trust him & he will lead you to someplace better.
