Bucovina, ‘The Dream Land’ Presentation
August 7, 2012 in List Of Churches Tags: @The, Bucovina, Dream, land, Presentation
With their painted exterior walls, decorated with 15th- and 16th-century frescoes that are considered masterpieces of Byzantine art, these seven churches in northern Moldavia are unique in Europe. Far from being merely wall decorations, the paintings represent complete cycles of religious murals on all facades. Their outstanding composition, elegant outline and harmonious colours blend perfectly with the surrounding landscape and granted them a place on UNESCO’s World Heritage List since 1993.

this was very inspiring for me to read, since i’m from Romania but currently became a U.S. citizen. it’s unfortunate that the leaders of Romania are so corrupt forcing people to abandon their homes in search for better lives elsewhere.

@sloby130391 with the fashion is somehow good. americans dress so bad. house music can be good if you dont see a lot of naked women and broken english. As a romanian I go to bars often and to a football game every week. i dont see myself losing this lifestyle. Love romania. thank god i was born there. few minorities, easy school I can walk everywhere without a car. and not fat people better food than other western countries. healthier

romania is way better than the united states. you just gotta have a good family and friends to help you succed. i find a lot of stuff in the united states simply retarded. i did one year of college there. when i came back to romania i thanked god i was not born in a globalized society. its not about having a lot of money its about having fun with friends when you are young and enjoying your culture.

@bonzaibb12 And …my “friend”,you just can’t be serious thinking about yourself that you have “superior level of education” if you compare a country with a hooker, because that’s insulting and proves that your “superior level of education” equals 0 !!

….we will make our own justice and once again we wil have to fight like in ’89 for a better life….like we say:”cand ne va ajunge cutitul la os”.

@bonzaibb12 Bonza just for you to know, life in România was never easy but that doesn’t means that everyone will leave the country. We are leaving the country because we can’t get an decent job that can allow us to live and raise our children apropriately but we almost ALWAYS come back in country after a few years of work in other countries.
About the politicians you are right unfortunately, they are corrupt and they do not care about the country but some day that will change…….

I am in Romania right now and I can tell you the teenagers here are way better than in the U.S. , fashion obsessed shallow people dominate my country too and speaking of corruption my government too has sold every American off to the highest paying corporation. There is much more freedom in Romania for those wanting to live a simple life. America has more laws than any other country and more prisoners than any country.
