Germany Could Prosecute Madonna for Cross Stunt

In what has turned out be the most blasphemous case of celebrities gone wild, Madonna's "Confessions Tour" pulls into Dusseldorf this weekend.

German prosecutors say they plan to monitor the situation to see if the singer repeats her mock crucifixion scene from Rome (as seen here).

If she repeats this disrespectful stunt, German authorities could prosecute the pop star under German laws that govern religious tolerance. Other reports indicate that the show may be covered by laws protecting artistic free speech.

This is an opportunity to correct this vile spectacle and insure that such stunts do not ever make in front of an audience again.

Rumor has it that NBC plans to air a version of the Madonna tour this Fall. Here's hoping that NBC will drop this off the calendar!
